The Attitude of a True Champion

Plaxico Burress said it all without saying a word when he caught the winning touchdown pass and immediately went to his knees in humble thanks to God.

When he was interviewed at the conclusion of the game, he thanked God and told how he had prayed every Sunday he's be healthy enough to compete. And to win? That was extra. So much extra that it brought him to tears.

He was a winner in my book when he responded to his good performance with an attitude of gratitude. No showboating, just gratitude. What a man.

There was much whooping and jumping and rowdyboy carrying on at our house tonight. Delighted Husband is thrilled with the outcome. Woo-Hoo! Go Giants!

I caught that too, and was quite touched. What a wonderful testimony!

Hi, "A Little Dark" here. I've posted a few times. (I don't remember the password to my blog - I haven't posted there in forever). Anyway, just wanted to put a prayer request out to you. I have many others in my real-life who are praying too, but the more the better, right? Anyway, I just really need God to move in big and little ways in my life right now. I need to see His mighty acts and I need to hear his gentle whisper. I need to feel/know His love and His hope! Thanks!!!

I will pray for you, alittledark. Great job asking for help. It's something we all have to learn how to do. I'm still learning.

I really want you to send me an email so I can email you back. My email address is in my profile.

Thanks again for posting,
SW
